Enjoy 1,700 sq. ft. of comfortable riverfront living with plenty of room for families, fishing trips and relaxing getaways. The home sits directly on the St. Clair River with approximately 75 feet of waterfront, giving you plenty of space to enjoy the views, watch boats and freighters pass, fish, or access the water by the swimming ladder. The property also borders a side canal with a boathouse, adding to the waterfront setting. Please note that the canal area is not equipped with cleats or designated boat docking.

The home sleeps up to 8. One bedroom features a queen bed, while the second has two twin beds. The spacious living area includes two queen sleeper sofas. There are two full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals, dining space, washer and dryer, free Wi-Fi and a dedicated desk and chair for anyone needing to work during their stay.

Step outside and enjoy the river from the outdoor seating area. Fire up the propane barbecue grill, relax around the propane fire table, or simply sit back and watch boats and freighters pass. Propane is provided for the grill and fire table. A ladder provides direct water access for guests who want to swim.

Anglers will love the location. The St. Clair River is recognized by the Michigan DNR as a quality fishing destination, with opportunities for walleye, smallmouth bass, yellow perch and other species.

Bringing a fishing boat? The property offers a boathouse and parking for one trailer. The driveway can accommodate up to four vehicles, or a boat and trailer along with two vehicles. There is also an attached two-car garage.

You’re conveniently positioned between St. Clair to the north and Marine City to the south, giving you plenty of restaurants, bars, waterfront dining and local attractions in either direction. Nearby full-size public launch options include the St. Clair Municipal Boat Launch and Marine City DNR Boat Launch, both providing hard-surface access for trailerable boats.

Guests will have access to the entire home, including both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, laundry area, attached two-car garage, outdoor seating areas, boathouse and waterfront.

The only areas not available for guest use are one locked cabinet in the laundry room and designated locked cabinets in the garage. These are used for owner and property management supplies.

Boaters and fishermen will appreciate the easy access to the river. The Marine City public boat launch is approximately 4 miles south of East China Township and provides direct St. Clair River access with parking for trailered boats.

The area is especially known for boating, fishing and freighter watching. Because this stretch of the St. Clair River narrows, large Great Lakes freighters can pass surprisingly close to shore, making ship watching part of the experience.

Whether you’re here to fish, spend time on the water, explore nearby river towns or simply relax and watch the boats go by, this location gives you a peaceful home base with dining and entertainment in either direction.

A vehicle is recommended for getting around and exploring the surrounding river communities. The home is conveniently located along M-29, with Marine City to the south and St. Clair to the north, where you’ll find restaurants, bars, shopping, waterfront areas and local attractions.

Uber and Lyft are available in the area, although availability and wait times may vary, especially during evenings or busier weekends.

Guests bringing a boat will find public boat launches nearby, and the property has room for one boat trailer along with additional vehicle parking. The driveway can accommodate up to four vehicles, or a boat and trailer plus two vehicles.

Please note that pets are not permitted at this property.

Guests are welcome to bring a small fishing boat. The property can accommodate one boat trailer, but the boathouse is not designed for larger boats and are not equipped with cleats or a designated secure docking system. If you plan to bring a boat, please contact us before your stay so we can make sure it is a good fit.

A swimming ladder provides direct access to the St. Clair River. Swimming and all water activities are at the guest’s own risk. This is an active waterway with current, recreational boats and freighter traffic, so please use appropriate caution at all times.

Guests are responsible for their own boats, trailers and watercraft. The property owner and management are not responsible for damage, loss or injury involving boats or watercraft while on or near the property, including damage caused by weather, current, debris, other vessels or use of the waterfront area.

We are committed to being good neighbors and keeping this home available as a short-term rental. Parties, events and gatherings of any kind are not permitted. No loud music, excessive noise or disruptive behavior is allowed, and posted quiet hours must be respected. Any party or unauthorized gathering will be shut down immediately and your reservation will be cancelled.

Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the home, garage or boathouse. Evidence of indoor smoking or vaping will result in a $500 fine.

The indoor fireplace is not available for guest use.

Outdoor furniture and cushions are provided for relaxing by the river. Because it can get windy along the waterfront, we ask that cushions be returned to the outdoor storage bin when not in use.

Propane is provided for the barbecue grill and fire table. Please turn both off completely after each use.

• Outdoor cushions must be returned to the storage bin each evening. Winds can pick up quickly along the river, and this helps prevent cushions from being damaged or blown into the water.
