Our tranquil coastal retreat on one of the best streets in Merimbula.
Walk to the beach and town. Or relax at home enjoying water views through the trees and listen to the native birds - bellbirds and whip birds.

Walk or short drive to Spencer Park Beach (750m), Rotary Park (700m), Short Point Beach, town and the new Lake Street Shared Path (750m) which takes you to Bar Beach.

THE SPACE
Bellbird House has a light-filled, open-plan coastal feel. We holiday here too and have chosen furniture and house items that we love to use and enjoy. We hope you do to!
The house is private (hidden from the street by a northern terraced garden)
Look over treetops to the lake and ocean views - the large windows look out over at treetops with some views to the lake and ocean (right to Pambula beach) through the trees.
The two living areas are separated by a huge dining table that can seat 8-10 people.
One living area has a huge King Living couch, smart TV (you can use our streaming services) and looks out through the large glass windows over the back garden to views of trees and the lake/ocean.
The second living area gets northern sun and has a small desk, daybed couch and sliding doors that open out to the front courtyard and terraced garden. This is the best spot to soak up the northern sun.
The kitchen is perfect for entertaining with a Miele induction cooktop, dishwasher, oven, stone benches and large kitchen island that seats 6.
The master bedroom has a king bed, built in wardrobe, ensuite and views to the deck, trees and some (filtered) ocean/lake views.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, built in wardrobe and views through the trees the lake and iconic Mitchies Jetty.
The third bedroom has a triple bunk (double down the bottom and single on the top) and northern sun. This bedroom had some kids toys and a display of locally written children’s picture books inspired by Merimbula —including Our Home (featuring the iconic Mutchies Jetty) and Catching a Wave about boogie boarding.
Three outdoor areas:
A large backyard with native trees to attract the birds.
A back deck off the lounge with an outdoor table and bbq.
And a sunny front courtyard and terraced garden with outdoor seating that gets the northern sun.
The Bathrooms: With 2 full bathrooms (including the master ensuite), there is plenty of room for everyone to wash off the salt and sand.
WALK TO MERIMBULA'S BEST BEACHES
One of the best features of Bellbird House is its proximity to the beach and town
1. Spencer Park Beach (750m): Ideal for families with young children. The shallow, calm tidal waters are perfect for a safe splash, and the park features a fantastic playground and BBQ facilities. You can also jump off the jetty or swim in the channel (when the tide is out).
2. Bar Beach (10–15 Min Scenic Walk): Located right near the start of the iconic Lake Street Shared Pathway. Walk along the Lake Street elevated path to to reach gorgeous Bar Beach for an open-water swim, or grab a morning coffee and egg roll at the famous Bar Beach Kiosk.

GUEST ACCESS & PARKING
Guests have full, exclusive use of the entire home. Access is via a private driveway. The house is completely single-level inside, with just a small step up from the double lock-up garage or the front door. There is secure parking for two cars in the garage, plus driveway space
