An amazing property and an unforgettable experience in Sam Sand Dunes Jaisalmer!
From the comfortable stay to the wonderful activities, everything was beautifully organised. We started with high tea at the sand dunes, followed by a camel ride and a beautiful cultural dance performance in the evening.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the night-time stargazing experience with Natwarji, who made it truly fascinating and memorable for us. We also enjoyed an early morning sunrise visit and a trip to a local village, where we got to observe and learn about the local lifestyle.
Definitely a must-visit property in Sam Sand Dunes Jaisalmer.
Thanks to Venture Desert Camp Team

Venture Desert Camp offers a truly unique and premium desert experience, distinguished by its exclusivity, serene setting, and refined hospitality. Located away from the usual cluster of desert camps, it provides a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere with a classy and sophisticated feel, far removed from the typical commercialised and crowded desert camp experience.
The team was exceptionally welcoming and supportive of our family throughout our stay. We also arranged an exclusive Thar for our desert travel requirements, which added to the overall experience.
A special thanks to Chandu for his warm hospitality and attentive service, and to Chef Islam for taking such thoughtful care of our child’s dietary needs. What truly stood out was his gesture of freshly preparing and packing khichdi for our daughter to take along at checkout, knowing that we had a long journey ahead to Jodhpur. These thoughtful personal touches made our experience all the more memorable.
Overall, Venture Desert Camp is an excellent choice for families seeking an exclusive, peaceful, and premium desert stay with genuine Rajasthani hospitality. Highly recommended for those who value personalised service, comfort, and an experience that feels truly special rather than mass-market.

A very clean and well managed desert camp located near the Sam San Dunes. The food is really good and the tents were clean. The owner Natwar ji is also a very nice guy, who arranged the taxi, camel and jeep safari for us. It has been a wonderful experience staying here. Would visit again with family.
