Town: South Elmsall is a small town, which can be found to the east of Hemsworth in the City of Wakefield. The town makes a great base for touring this part of Yorkshire, with supermarkets, convenience stores, eateries and pubs, as well as a train stations, giving you easy access to the rest of Yorkshire and its superb attractions. From here is Frickley Country Park, where you can explore the open meadows, wetlands, developing woods as you walk upon one of a plethora of extensive paths and bridleways. The stately home of Brodsworth Hall and Gardens is also close by, promising a superb day out with a family of all ages, with its pretty gardens and excellent play area to spend summer afternoons. Another historical landmark within the area includes the Nostell Priory and Parkland, providing excellent walking opportunities and an adventure play park. Other places, which are worth a visit is the pretty village of Hooton Pagnell, the town of Hemsworth and the city of Doncaster.
