About this house rental
A unique, characterful house spread over four floors, offering a generous living area with three bedrooms to comfortably accommodate up to six guests:
Ground floor: A practical entrance hall equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
First floor: A cosy living area comprising a fully equipped kitchen (oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery), a dining area, a pleasant lounge and a first bedroom with a double bed.
Second floor: A cosy relaxation area with a sofa and a television.
Third floor: Two further bedrooms with Air conditioning:
A master bedroom with a double bed and its own bathroom facilities (small washbasin and toilet).
A bedroom ideal for children, featuring two single beds and a cot.
In total, the property has four beds (one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, two single beds) and a cot.
Bathrooms & Facilities:
Bathroom with shower, mirror and toilet.
Bath towels and a full set of bed linen provided free of charge.
Wi-Fi, heating, TV, cleaning service included, basic toiletries and bin bags provided.
Important note regarding the historic nature of the accommodation:
The building is a historic residence (over 600 years old) featuring period heritage features that give it its charm and preserve its original character:
Very low wooden beams requiring constant care from taller guests.
Period windows on the upper floor without modern security bars.
Old stone steps, with uneven wear, leading to the small external balcony.
In line with our commitment to transparency regarding the safety of our guests, confirmation of the booking implies that you have read and accepted these period-specific features.
Security deposit:
A security deposit of 500 euros will be held via a credit card pre-authorisation and refunded 7 days after your departure.
Free public car park less than a 5-minute walk away. The house is not accessible by car (pedestrian zone).
We have made sure your arrival goes smoothly and you can manage everything independently, thanks to our detailed instructions. Although we won’t be there to welcome you on arrival, we are available at any time via text message or telephone to assist you with anything you need.
Located on Rue Barry, right in the heart of the historic centre, just a short walk from the shops, restaurants, Sarlat market and tourist attractions.
Sarlat SNCF railway station is 1.5 km away; from there, you can walk or take a taxi.
This property has been prepared by our wonderful caretaker, Latifha; we are counting on you to treat the premises with respect.
