About this cottage rental
Ty Cerrig is one of 10 luxury self-catering cottages on The Bodnant Estate, a strikingly beautiful agricultural estate in North Wales. Set in hilly and wooded countryside in the lower reaches of the Conwy Valley, it commands spectacular views across to Snowdonia. Stone cottages and farm buildings have been restored using traditional materials and techniques, and the Estate supports farming and encourages other rural activities. Various houses and cottages in scenic positions on the Estate are available for rent as holiday lets. This lovely holiday house sleeping seven, converted from a barn (in 2010), is set overlooking fields high above the Eglwysbach valley in Wales, and commands spectacular and panoramic views of the Carneddau mountains (Snowdonia National Park).
There are a number of other properties available to book at the Bodnant Estate; Ty Newydd, sleeping eight guests, Lletty, sleeping six guests, Lletty and Annexe, sleeping eight guests, Garth Iwrch, sleeping four guests, Bryn Derw, sleeping 4 guests, Bryn Rhydd, sleeping four guests, Tydden Derwen, sleeping five guests, Minafon sleeping two guests, Ty Ucha'r Ffordd, sleeping two guests and Bryn Mawr, sleeping 7 guests.
Additional Information:
We do recommend that the property is more suited to a maximum of six adults due to the layout of the single bedroom.
Please note that access is by single country roads with steep gradients in places and graded track across open fields. Caution should be exercised, particularly in inclement weather.
Fishing permits available at Bodnant Garden Centre.
Due to the remote location, some mobile phone network providers may have limited signal.
Travel cot, high chair and stair gate available on request (please provide your own cot linen).
Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Please note, dogs must be kept under control as sheep and cattle graze in adjacent fields.
A starter basket of wood, kindling, firelighters and matches are provided on arrival. Further wood can be purchased locally at Bryn Mawr Farm Firewood. Further details are provided in the arrival guide.
