Summary:

A five minute walk from the sand, this two story, four bedroom home sleeps eight and was built for the kind of trip where nobody has to take the couch. There is a private community pool, a wide upper deck made for dinners outside, an outdoor shower for sandy feet, and a gas grill. Coffee, ice cream and a handful of good restaurants are around the corner, and historic downtown St. Augustine is ten minutes up the road. Bring the dog if you like.



The Space:

The house spreads over two levels, which is what makes it work for a group.



Downstairs there is a den with a big TV and a desk tucked into the corner for anyone checking in with work, two queen bedrooms, a full bath with a walk in shower, and a laundry closet with a second fridge and freezer for drinks and beach snacks. Out the back door is a small patio with a porch swing.



Upstairs opens up. Living, dining and kitchen share one bright room, and the kitchen is stocked well enough to really cook in. The king bedroom and a twin room with two twin beds are on this level, along with a full bath with a shower and tub. The deck off the living room has lounge seating and a dining table, and it is where most days here end up.



Home offers a king and two twins upstairs, a queen and a queen down. Four bedrooms, two full baths, room for eight and nobody on top of anybody.



Games, books, beach chairs and an umbrella are here, and there are two baby gates if you are traveling with a little one.



Guest Access:

The whole house is yours, both levels, the patio and the deck. You also have the private community pool and the beach walkway, both a short stroll away, and the pool key is waiting on the entry table.



Parking is free and right at the house.



Check in is on a smart lock, so there is nobody to meet and no key to chase down. Your code comes to you before you travel and works for the length of your stay. Arrive whenever it suits you.



The Neighborhood:

You are on a quiet residential street on St. Augustine Beach, the kind of block where half the neighbors have owned their place for twenty years. It is an easy walk to coffee, ice cream, a few good restaurants and the beach shops, and an easier walk back to a street where nothing much happens after dark.



Most people fall into the same rhythm here without meaning to. The shoreline in the morning before the lots fill up, the pool in the afternoon, the deck once the sun drops.



When you feel like going further, Anastasia State Park, the lighthouse, the Alligator Farm and the Amphitheatre are all a few minutes away, and ten minutes north puts you in the old city with the Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street, Flagler College and the Lightner Museum.



You will eat well without going far. Salt Life Food Shack and the Purple Olive are the two we send people to first, A1A Beachside Diner sorts out breakfast, and Kookaburra and Mayday handle coffee and ice cream on the walk home.



Getting Around:

Most of what you will want is walkable. The beach, coffee, ice cream and several restaurants are a few minutes on foot, and the grocery store is under a mile.



Downtown St. Augustine is a ten minute drive. Park in the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on Castillo Drive and walk from there, which beats circling the side streets.



Bikes and golf carts are a popular way to move around the beach side and there are rental outfits nearby that will deliver to the house.



Uber and Lyft both run here reliably.



If you are flying in, Jacksonville International is about an hour north and Orlando is a little under two hours southwest.



Other Things to Note:

* Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am.

* A Dog is welcome with a pet fee for each. Please keep them leashed, including on the beach.

* The pool and storage keys are on the entry table. There is a $100 charge if the pool key does not make it back.

* Please keep glass out of the pool area, and close the deck umbrella if the wind picks up.

* No parties, events and/or smoking inside allowed.

* The guest must comply with the rules under the guest rental agreement.

* The guest booking this property must be at least 25 years of age when they book and stay with us. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, as well as to comply with local laws and regulations.

* The booking price includes a property damage protection fee to cover up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and accidental property damage. Any damage or accident that is not covered under the policy will be the responsibility of the guest. Damage amounts in excess of damage insurance will be charged to the guest.

* All primary guests must complete the online pre-arrival form/contract via the PMI St. Augustine Guest Portal prior to their check-in date. This will help to ensure that all guests have easy access to the property and arrival information needed for a hassle-free check-in process.

* Beach access you can drive your car on the beach with access on Mary Street. We recommend your vehicle is a 4x4 or AWD if you do decide to drive your vehicle on the beach.

* Also, all televisions have streaming services that are accessible to login. Please remember to log out prior to leaving.

* The upstairs TV runs through the Xfinity box, so use the Xfinity remote and leave the TV on HDMI 1. The channel guide does not show numbers, so scroll and pick, and whatever you watch will save to the home screen.

* Trash is picked up on Wednesday mornings.
