The Space:
Outdoor space is a big part of the experience here. Inside, the layout combines a separate double bedroom, an additional sleeping area and a bright living and dining space for an easy stay in central Exarchia.
The main bedroom has a double bed with quality linens and storage. A second separate sleeping area features a brimnes bed, which can be easily opened into a comfortable double bed, making it suitable for one or two additional guests. The apartment also has one bathroom with a walk-in shower, along with fast WiFi, a Smart TV, air conditioning for summer and full central heating for winter.

Upstairs, the building’s shared rooftop terrace opens onto wider views across Athens, with the Acropolis visible on the horizon.
Guest Access:
You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment and both outdoor spaces throughout your stay. The building's rooftop terrace is shared with other guests in the building and is open daily 08:00–22:00.
The Neighborhood:
Exarchia is one of Athens' most distinctive neighbourhoods, creative, independent and unmistakably local. From your base, you are surrounded by the street art, cafés, independent bookshops, neighbourhood tavernas and wine bars that have shaped the area's identity. Artists, students, writers and independent thinkers have gathered here for generations, giving Exarchia a character that feels lived in rather than designed for visitors.
The neighbourhood is particularly known for its graffiti and murals. Walls become an evolving gallery of political expression, large scale artwork and layers of contemporary Athenian culture. Kallidromiou Street, around 0.4 km away, captures another side of local life. Every Saturday it hosts one of Athens' best known farmers' markets, where seasonal fruit and vegetables, herbs, olives, honey and other Greek produce fill the street.
Some of central Athens' most important cultural landmarks are remarkably close. The National Archaeological Museum is around 0.5 km away and houses one of the world's major collections of ancient Greek archaeology. The slopes of Mount Lycabettus begin within roughly 1 km, offering an uphill walk towards one of the city's best known viewpoints.
Continue towards the centre and Syntagma Square is around 1.5 km away, while the Athens National Garden is also around 1.5 km from the property. The Ancient Agora of Athens is approximately 2 km away, and the Acropolis of Athens rises around 2 km from your door. The Acropolis Museum is approximately 2.5 km away, placing many of the landmarks that define Athens within the wider walkable city centre.
Exarchia itself deserves time rather than simply serving as a route to the ancient sights. Browse independent bookshops, follow the changing street art, spend a long morning over Greek coffee, pick up produce at the Saturday market, or settle into a neighbourhood taverna for meze and Greek cooking. In the evening, cafés give way to wine bars, restaurants and independent music venues, while the streets retain the strong community character for which the area is known. The Official Athens Guide describes Exarchia as a longstanding centre of counterculture with publishing houses, bookshops, traditional tavernas, cafés and a particularly strong local market culture.
For many visitors, Exarchia quickly shifts from unexpected to unforgettable. You stay within easy reach of ancient Athens while experiencing a neighbourhood shaped by contemporary creativity, local routines and a strong sense of identity.
Getting Around:
Exarchia is one of the most walkable parts of Athens. For almost everything you will want to do day to day, your feet are the best option.
For getting around the wider city, we recommend Uber. It is reliable, affordable and works seamlessly throughout Athens at any hour.
The metro is worth knowing for two specific trips. For the beaches, take Line 2 (Red) from Panepistimio station directly to Elliniko, then a short Uber to the coast. For Piraeus and the island ferries, take Line 2 to Omonia and switch to Line 1 (Green) towards Piraeus.
Other Things to Note:
CCTV cameras are in operation in all common areas of the building, including the entrances and the rooftop terrace. No cameras are present inside the apartment.
