In the heart of the Southern Black Forest
The idyllic mountain village of Wieden is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Black Forest region
Belchen and is an ideal starting point for hikes, excursions, and active
vacations. Hiking trails lead directly from Wieden through the magnificent
Black Forest landscape up to the 1,414-meter-high Belchen, one of the
most famous scenic peaks in the Southern Black Forest.
The Feldberg, the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg, is also easily accessible. In winter
, the surrounding area offers opportunities for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and winter hiking. In
summer, numerous hiking trails and attractions invite you to discover the Southern Black Forest
.
Thanks to its location in the southern Black Forest, nature vacations and
varied day trips can be wonderfully combined. Freiburg im Breisgau, the historic “Faust” town of Staufen, and Basel in Switzerland are just as ideal for a day trip as the Münster Valley, the Feldberg, and the many small Black Forest villages in the region.
Whether it’s a family vacation, a hiking trip, a winter getaway, or a relaxing retreat for two—
our vacation apartment at the Hotel Wiedener Hof combines plenty of space, a private kitchen, and
a magnificent mountain view with the cozy atmosphere of a Black Forest hotel.
