About this house rental
Private parking is available for one small-to-medium sized car.
The living room is the heart of the place, with a period fireplace, a deep window seat looking onto the street, wooden floors and glazed internal doors that let the light run right through. There is a drop leaf dining table, plenty of seating and a smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper cooking, with a gas hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and everything you need for a week rather than a night.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main room has a comfortable double bed, fitted wardrobes and a bright dormer window. The second has a sturdy bunk bed, which works well for children or for two friends sharing. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate walk in shower, with fresh towels and hotel quality linen provided throughout.
Grove Street sits in Fountainbridge, one of the most convenient central neighbourhoods in the city. The Union Canal towpath, a large supermarket, independent coffee shops and some of Edinburgh`s best pubs are all within a few streets. The Usher Hall, Traverse Theatre and EICC are a short walk away, and in August you are within easy reach of nearly every Fringe venue.
Potter`s House suits families of four, two couples travelling together or a group of colleagues. Please note the home is arranged over two floors with an internal staircase.
There is private parking available for one small to medium sized car.
The tourist tax is included in the nightly rate. There is nothing further to pay on arrival.
For all of our listings you will be required to verify your identity and pay either a damage waiver (£30) or a refundable damage deposit (which carries an admin fee of £10) through Truvi. This is arranged before your stay and takes only a few minutes to complete.
To protect the property and be good neighbours, we use a Minut monitoring device inside the apartment. It measures sound levels and occupancy only, it does not record audio and cannot listen to conversations. It also detects the sound of a smoke alarm, so we can respond quickly if something is wrong while you are out. You will only hear from us if sound levels stay high for a sustained period.
