About this house rental
The holiday home "Olle Wilge" ("Old Willow") is situated on a hillside, 40 meters above the valley near Obernburg, bordered at both the top and bottom by cul-de-sacs.
The ground floor (70 sqm) features a shower room, a bedroom, and an open-plan living, kitchen, and conservatory area spanning 50 sqm.
From the conservatory, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the lush green valley and the 916 sqm garden, which is dominated by the "Olle Wilge" (the old willow tree itself).
The conservatory contains two large, comfortable daybeds (120x190 cm)—perfect for relaxing or even sleeping—enhanced with additional mattress toppers for extra comfort. A white leather sofa (100x180 cm) can also be used for sleeping when fitted with a topper.
As of 2026, the bedroom is furnished with a large king-size box-spring bed, dressers, and an Art Nouveau-style wardrobe.
Due to the hillside location, the lower level covers 60 sqm and includes a bedroom, a living/sleeping room, a bathroom, and a utility room equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a small kitchenette.
The lower level is functionally furnished, though not as exquisitely appointed as the ground floor. A conservatory on this level is intended to serve as a party room; however, renovations are not expected to be completed until March 20, 2027.
The air-conditioning units (air-to-air heat pumps) provide pleasant cooling even in 40°C (104°F) heat, while also keeping the rooms cozy and warm during colder weather.
We welcome families with older children who possess an appropriate sense of risk awareness—typically corresponding to school age (6 years and up). The tilt-and-turn windows in the house and the partially wild, uncultivated garden present too many potential hazards.
The holiday home is not suitable for pets, as the ground floor features some high-end furnishings.
The large, wild garden—home to a 20-meter-tall weeping willow—is only partially landscaped. Even so, you will discover enchanting corners and plenty of spots for dreaming or hosting celebrations.
