Welcome to Pigeon River Cottage, our cozy riverfront retreat tucked into the mountains of Western North Carolina.

We love this place for its peaceful setting, the sound of the river, and the simple joy of being outside. Whether you’re gathering around the fire pit, enjoying coffee on the porch, or heading out to explore the surrounding mountains, we hope you’ll find a little space to slow down and enjoy your time here.

The cottage has an updated, comfortable interior with an open-concept living and dining area, a well-stocked kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed and private en suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a queen bed and a single rollaway cotbed. The cottage is great for families, couples, or friends.

Outside, the backyard slopes gently toward the Pigeon River, with seating and a fire pit along the water. On warm days, wade or swim, let the kids splash and explore, or cast a line and try your hand at catching dinner. The covered porches are wonderful places to sit with a cup of coffee, enjoy the sounds of nature, or settle in for a quiet evening.

We’re conveniently located near Canton and a short drive from Waynesville, with West Asheville, local breweries, restaurants, hiking trails, and the Blue Ridge Parkway all within reach.
