About this house rental
A south-facing terrace, a private garden of nearly 1,000 m², and Mont Blanc filling the horizon. At Fermes du Savoy, summer happens outside: morning coffee facing the massif, lunches in the shade, paragliders landing in the garden as the day winds down. The centre of Chamonix is a walk away, its trails and terraces within reach. A chalet of nearly 300 m² over three levels, sleeping up to 10 across 5 bedrooms.
The Space:
The heart of the chalet is its large living space on the garden level: a kitchen open to the sitting area, a stone fireplace, and wide picture windows that draw the mountain inside. Level with the ground, it opens onto the south-facing terrace and the garden — once the fine weather arrives, inside and out become one.
The private garden, nearly 1,000 m² facing Mont Blanc, is a rare thing in Chamonix: space, sun, and a clear view across the whole massif, from Mont Blanc to the Drus. Only a few metres separate you from the town centre, the restaurants, and all the action.
Built in 2008 and carefully maintained (bathrooms renovated in 2020), the chalet has 5 bedrooms over three levels.
On the ground floor, the mountain spirit: an entrance with storage, a sauna, a bedroom with its own bathroom, the laundry room and the garage.
On the garden level, a bedroom with private bathroom opens off the living space.
Upstairs, three bedrooms including a master suite with dressing room and bathroom, plus a family bathroom. The mezzanine holds a billiard table with one of the finest views in Europe.
Three of the five bedrooms can be arranged as either a double or twin beds: enough to welcome two families or five couples alike.
When winter comes, the location reveals its other face: skis on, you reach and leave the slopes straight from the chalet. The chalet sits directly on the Savoy piste, at the foot of the Brévent, reached through a small gate.
Guest Access:
Autonomous entry via key box — arrive at your own pace. The chalet is managed by Pangea Services, a local concierge based in Les Houches, available before and during your stay to assist with any requests, from booking activities to local tips.
The Neighborhood:
A location like this one is no longer to be found. In front of the chalet, an open field: in summer, paragliders land just metres from the terrace; in autumn, sheep graze it. No road to cross, not a sound — space, the mountain facing you, and that rare sense of having the world to yourselves.
And yet. Cross that field and you reach the centre of Chamonix on foot in under five minutes: the terraces, the shops, all the life of the village. In winter, you set off and return with skis on.
At the heart of the action without hearing the faintest echo of it — therein lies the privilege of this address.
Getting Around:
From the chalet, the Brévent-Flégère ski area is reached on foot — skis on in winter, the cable car right there in summer to reach the high-altitude trailheads.
The valley's other sites are minutes away:
Brévent-Flégère — on foot
Les Houches — 10 min
Grands Montets — 15 min
Le Tour — 20 min
For the rest of the valley without a car, every bus line departs from Place du Mont-Blanc in the centre of Chamonix: a 10-minute walk from the chalet, across the piste. The network is free with the Guest Card given on arrival — in summer for the trails and seasonal lifts, in winter for the slopes, you enjoy the whole valley without getting back in the car.
Airports:
Geneva — 1 hr
Milan — 2 hr 30
Interaction with Guests:
The chalet is managed by Pangea Services, a local concierge company based in Les Houches. Their team is available before and throughout your stay to answer questions, organise activities, and ensure everything runs smoothly — from arrival to departure.
