This flat in St. Hanshaugen is furnished like a real home—personal, classic, and cohesive, yet fully functional and full of life. You'll first enter the living room, with its antique doors, stucco, rosettes, and a fireplace that anchors the space. The flat is on a high floor and gets plenty of natural light.

The interior reflects the owners’ love of books, art, antiques and souvenirs from their travels. Not everything's new or perfect, and that’s by design. The owners have arranged the living room seating area so that you sit facing each other—a natural gathering spot. The flat's comfortable and functional, with modern solutions where needed.

The hallway has tiles that withstand daily use, so you can walk right in without worrying about the floors. This sums up much of the philosophy behind the flat: beautiful and personal, yet relaxed and easy to live in.
