About this apartment rental
A cozy, simply elegant studio with a wooden mezzanine, just a 5–10 minute walk from Faro's Old Town, the marina and the main shopping street. Step out into our shared courtyard and pick a lemon or a few sprigs of basil, mint or rosemary for your cooking. On some mornings, the peacocks from the nearby park drop by to say hello :)
We have two identical studios, perfect for couples, or for friends traveling together who want their own space.
The space
The bedroom is on the wooden mezzanine, reached by stairs, with a 150x200 cm double bed. There is no bed downstairs, just please bear this in mind if stairs are difficult for you. Downstairs you'll find a kitchenette with everything you need for everyday cooking: dishwasher, hob, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There is also a TV and wifi. Air conditioning keeps the studio warm in winter and cool in summer.
The courtyard
Shared with our other guests: a barbecue, a lemon tree and fresh herbs you're welcome to use. Smoking is only allowed in the courtyard - not indoors.
Winter & long stays
Faro's mild, sunny winters are ideal for escaping the cold for a month or more. For monthly stays we offer:
Weekly cleaning included
All utilities included: water, electricity, gas (within fair use) and wifi
Laundry service: two washes a week for €12/each (we don't have dryer), or self-service laundrettes within walking distance. You can dry your clothes in the patio.
The neighborhood
Everything is on foot: the Old Town, the marina, restaurants, cafes and shops. Enjoy Portugal's rich cuisine and excellent wine at very affordable prices, or stroll through Jardim da Alameda, home to free-roaming peacocks.
Getting around
Many buses stop on Avenida 5 de Outubro, right next to us, and the main bus station by the marina is an easy walk away. The Bom João train stop is less than 10 minutes on foot and connects Faro with the rest of the Algarve. No car needed.
