About this house rental
A sheltered wooden terrace creates an intimate spot for slow mornings and quiet evenings, with comfortable outdoor seating surrounded by greenery. Large windows and a glazed door bring daylight into the adjoining living space and make it easy to move between indoors and outside. The setting is especially appealing for guests who want to reconnect with nature and the coast: the sea lies close by, with wonderful views and a private swimming platform for refreshing dips directly from the shore. Fårösund, in northern Gotland, has a distinctly maritime character and is the gateway to the island of Fårö. A short ferry crossing opens up landscapes of limestone sea stacks, windswept beaches and open countryside, including the remarkable rauks at Digerhuvud. Cycling, coastal walks and swimming suit the unhurried surroundings, while nearby cafés and local eateries provide opportunities to sample Gotland’s seasonal flavours.
