About this house rental
A welcoming mountain-cabin atmosphere fills this living room, where timber-clad walls and ceiling create a warm, traditional character. Generous windows bring in plenty of daylight and frame the wintry landscape outside, while the comfortable seating invites long evenings together after an active day. A fireplace adds to the cosy mood when the weather turns cold. At Hallingskarvet Ski Centre in Hovet, ski-in/ski-out access makes it easy to head straight onto the slopes, and the area is particularly known for abundant snow and off-piste skiing. Beyond winter, the dramatic scenery of Hallingskarvet National Park offers rewarding hiking through mountain terrain. Fishing is another way to enjoy the surroundings, with fishing available subject to the required licence. Geilo is a short drive away for shops, restaurants and further activities, while a day trip towards Aurland reveals yet another side of Norway’s striking mountain and fjord landscapes.
