Charming country house
Natural light streams in through wide glazed doors, connecting the living room to a sheltered terrace and the leafy garden beyond. Exposed ceiling beams, tiled floors, bookshelves, works of art and lush plants lend the interior a refined yet relaxed character, whilst generous seating areas invite you to enjoy cosy afternoons together. Built from local stone and situated on an idyllic plot near Carsan, the house extends outwards with sunny terraces, an outdoor kitchen and a spacious private infinity pool set amongst mature trees and flowers.
The peaceful countryside of the Gard is ideal for walking and cycling; the Valbonne Forest and the historic Valbonne Charterhouse are perfect for rewarding day trips. You can also spend your days by the River Cèze, visiting La Roque-sur-Cèze and Aiguèze, or exploring Pont-Saint-Esprit with its Gothic bridge. Another absolute must-see is the medieval town of Uzès, with its picturesque alleyways and historic charm. The local vineyards further enhance the experience, whilst Orange, the Pont du Gard, Avignon and the Ardèche Gorges offer unforgettable day trips to the wider region.
