Friendly staff, a lot of food for breakfast and the pool is amazing :)

We had a very pleasant stay at Peacock Homestay in Sigiriya.
We particularly liked the large and very clean pool, which was a great way to relax after a trip. The accommodation was well equipped overall and offered everything you need for a pleasant stay.
A special highlight was the breakfast: it was very versatile and was put together a little differently every day, so there was always something new to discover.
The hosts were also very friendly, warm and helpful. We felt very comfortable during our stay and can definitely recommend the Peacock Homestay for a stay in Sigiriya.
On two days, construction work took place next to our room during the morning and was somewhat noisy. However, it was stopped after a short time.

Lovely homestay with comfortable rooms and very hospitable owners. Breakfast was lovely and varied daily. They have very recently built their own swimming pool where you can have a dip and watch the family of monkeys in the nearby trees. Fab environment. Good restaurants in walking distance.

The swimming pool and the staff was quite nice
The staff offered us a laundry service and they charge us 11kg. We cleaned two more time our clothes and it is only 4-6kg. We felt cheated.
