Passable

The property was very old but close to the beaches and all the services . The staff was very helpful in a very critical moment ( the day we arrived there was a huge fire in the village)

The property was not really clean and extremely old

Exceptional

A wonderful place to stay! Spacious, nicely decorated, clean and equipped with everything that might be needed. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen area very well equipped and we had a lovely terrace where we could enjoy the sun and outdoor meals. The property is located in a lovely residential area of San Cataldo, close to the beach, very peaceful and with lots of greenery. The guests can even use bikes belonging to the property to explore the lovely trails in the area. We were given a great welcome and some very useful tips on the local restaurants (some of which offer discounts to the guests of Le Barchette), as well as the local shops. Ovearall we had a delightful stay and highly recommend Le Barchette to everyone!

Exceptional

We spent a lovely and relaxing week at the beginning of August. The staff was great, in particular Deborah, the manager, is extremely nice and helpful, and so her beautiful family. The flat was very comfortable for us (2adults and a 3yrs old). Flat is well ventilated and although we had aircon we didn't use it. The wi-fi works well and the flat has a private balcony where we had some lovely meals. The flat has all facilities to cook. Only downside for us with a 3yrs old is that there is no washing machine, though we discovered later there's laundry service (though check this beforehand if it is important to you). Deborah replies to messages within 24hrs and usually after only a few hrs, so if you have any questions prior to arrival (like i did) do ask her. The location is fantastic, less than a 5 minutes walk from the beach, cafes and bars and delicious restaurants that offer seafood. We had breakfast included which is in a cafe nearby offering delicious cakes and 'rustici' (savoury pastr). There is also a small supermarket 10 minutes walk that sells everything, and there is,also a pharmacy near the supermarket. The building is on the same road of the best pasticciotti ever tried (typical pastry from Lecce). The building has a common outside area were kids can play, you can read in the shade and there is a box of toys. Our son enjoyed spending time there in the afternoon before going for a gelato, while i would read. We used some private beaches nearby, because we found it was easier for us, though there is also free beach. Private beaches we went to have a kids area with swings, slides toy houses, etc. One of these also has a swimming pool for days when the sea is rough. We just wanted to relax so we didn't leave San Cataldo for that week, but i know the area as i'm originally from Lecce and if you have a car you can explore other beaches nearby some which are amazing.

Gentilezza e cortesia dello staff. Ottima accoglienza.

Tutto perfetto!
