Un Riad de charme qui mériterait de nombreuses améliorations

La situation géographique, à 15mns en voiture de la place Jemma El Fna. Le très joli rooftop, un vrai plus. L’immense gentillesse de l’hôte présent en soirée (et toute la nuit).

La piscine, totalement à l’ombre ET pas chauffée (glacée) alors que sur Booking et dans les commentaires Booking, il était bien spécifié qu’elle était chauffée, ce qui a valu une discussion très désagréable avec la responsable, qui souhaitait voir la preuve de mes propos. Nous avons du dépenser plus de 100 euros par jour pour profiter d’une piscine chauffée dans d’autres établissements. Une première chambre sur le rooftop sans porte à clé mais avec un cadenas, et une isolation inexistante. Nous avons heureusement pu la changer avec une autre très jolie, à côté de la piscine (mais avec un wifi qui ne marchait pas bien). Le petit déjeuner peu varié surtout si vous aimez le salé. La carte de la restauration avec des prix trop élevés pour le standing du Riad.

A beautiful and surprising stay away from the bustle of the city

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to the 'Presidential suite' so I slept under a breathtakingly beautiful mosaic and glass domed roof! The bathroom was large, coloured a deep terracotta with a shower and a giant bathtub. The bed was large and comfortable, and the space airy and quiet. There is also a decent sized central pool, which was very welcomed during a heat wave in May. The Riad is also a short, ten minute walk form the Jarden Majorelle. It was my first trip to Marrakesh, so I welcomed the Riad being slightly away from the centre to let me ease into the city. But the staff are what made the Riad special. They were all so kind and gentle and good humoured, and nothing was too much trouble. My dinner was beautifully presented, and without question the best Tagine I ate my entire trip in Morocco. I know the owner has special plans for the Riad - to add a spa and treatment rooms (he even gave me a free neck massage to cure my headache), so this Riad will only get better and better.

Beautiful riad. Nice rooms, lovely pool and courtyard, and lots of comfy places to sit (both inside and out). Everyone was so friendly and helpful too. Thanks for a lovely stay.

It was a little further from the Medina than we would have liked, but other than that all good.

The pool area was nice

firstly, no complimentary water in the room to brush your teeth, every little extra, you have to pay for, including an egg breakfast, for the price the property was way over priced. Breakfast was super simple, simple, bread, bread, and bread, They took the payment before I’ve seen the room. They use the same photograph for all the rooms in the on the website, but all the rooms are not the same, personally I saw this as an infringement on my right as a consumer, and the standard of the room shown was not equal to the room I was given. The staff seem very nice, but absolutely focused at getting every cent they could extra, also upon arrival instead of paying €220 which was advertised on the site. I paid €230. This was not a great experience, and I recommend, that others see the room first before paying, as I should’ve done.

beautiful guesthouse with lovely rooms, very cold swimming pool!

it’s a beautiful building with lovely rooms, and good communal spaces. The pool area is especially lovely The staff were friendly and helpful. The food is really good and it’s a nice place to spend time relaxing.

We had understood the pool to be heated which it is not. It was much too cold for use until we returned for a night at the end of our holiday when the weather was insanely hot and it was nice to have a cold pool! We had also been keen to play on the pool table we’d seen in photos but the cues are both broken and there is no white or black ball. We also found it quite hard to reach in taxis as they never knew where it is and it was complicated to explain using our Roman alphabet Google maps. It would be good if the Riad could give guests some sort of card to show taxi drivers which explains the location in Arabic! We also found the meals to be delicious but also very expensive which was tricky as it’s a long way to reach other options.

incredibly well placed and well organized. very quick and helpful booking procedure and good shuttle service!

beautiful and well kept. Fantastic outside area by the Pool and dining area. Staff were accommodating and incredibly flexible. Available 24/7!

The only down side was the fact that the pool was advertised as heated but was always Cold. still nice for a refreshing dip but would have been nice to have it warm!

Absolutely atrocious

The staff STOLE one of our passports. It was in our room when we left for our day tour (the staff knew we would be gone all day as they asked where we were going). They moved all of our possessions around whilst cleaning the room; things that were inside our closed bags ended up on the bed, the floor, and in the cupboard. They told us not to call the police and said they would do it, which they then did not do and proceeded to tell the police that we had said we would call. Throughout the whole situation with the police the manager and receptionist thought it was humorous. They were laughing and mocking us while speaking in arabic. The manager accused us of faking the passport theft to get out of paying the hotel fee. We of course did pay. As 3 young female travellers we felt completely taken advantage of. It is a very sad world that we live in where you really cant trust anyone, even when your are a paying guest. Please do not stay here. - 3 girls from Iceland, Australia and US

Friendly, good service, colorful, clean, tasty.

Abdelhakb was a very gentle man, he gave excellent service. All hotel stuff was so friendly!! The meals were so tasty and rich to eat. The hotel is colorful and very clean. A lot of space and very calm. The swimming pool area is very beautiful. Good to have a rest. Very protected and lovely.

We had an amazing stay at Riad la Villa Bleue, we will definitely be back there!

Riad la Villa Bleue is an amazing place to stay at. Its location is perfect to reach any touristic attraction in Marrakech, the location is also very safe! Breakfast and lunch were delicious and good value for money. Radja en the rest of the staff are very nice and helpful! 100% recommend this place!

Amazing Stay até Riad la villa bleue

We had a wonderful experience at the Riad la villa bleue. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Special thanks to Mohcine and Patric for all the attention they gave to me and my family. And of course, to the rest of the staff, Salim, Majeda, Abdou, lham, Leila and Raja to all of them a big thanks! I will recommend to everyone that visit Marraqueche 😁😁

The staff were nice and the riad was great, there some things needs to be fixed in the room which we have stayed in, for example the lights, in order to switch on/off the light in the room i had to go out of the room to find the switch. Also please try to add extra sockets, me and my parents had difficulties tryinf to charge our phones. In general the stay was good the riad staff were very helpful and great.

Lovely riad in a quiet part of town, the birdsong outside the window is beautiful! Great for getting away from the huddle and bustle, and just chilling out. Lovely breakfast and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating... thank you!

Wifi working badly, no natural lights in the room, breakfast outside in January (very cold) and our room was just in front of the breakfast area which was very noisy

It’s a bit far from the Medina , but we can go by walk for about 20min.

No clean towels every day and sheets... Our room was downstairs for 4 person the part with the double bed was hot the other with the two single totally cold.. Bathroom not clean....
