no elevator. we needed to bring all our huge baggages to the 1st floor (which is on the 5th floor)

Very nice hostel, great pub with good beer and food. The hostel is located central to old Heidelberg and is in walking distance from many good restaurants and scenic sites.

Good location, restaurant with garden on first floor. Staff is friendly - guest can leave backpack before and after their stay.

Quite steeply staircase

This was the cleanest, cutest, most centrally-located Hostel I've ever stayed in for the money. Absolutely worth it. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would like to come back and stay here when I have more time to explore Heidelberg ❤️

I was happy with every aspect of my experience.

Lovely accommodating staff, clean and comfortable room with fantastic views.

Close to historical center and Bismarckplatz. Lots of electrical sockets in room. Standing fan provided.

Had to climb up 4 floors and stairs are steep and narrow. No wifi. Only one shared bathroom available.

The fact thatt No elevator exists was not indicated on the hostel page. This was problematic because all the rooms were in the 3rd and 4th floor and the stairwell was narrow and slightly cramped for luggages. Alsoo, no air-conditioning but the windows open (albeit inwards to take up some room space).

Booked a private 1 person room. Nice place above a typical brown Heidelberg cafe. Good location. Clean and well.

I spent 1 night. For this, they sent me several German language emails, a looong message in the Booking app where they made me fill out a registration form, just so they could make me fill out a different one on paper when I arrived. Who the hell this benefits? :D

Really good location, I was concerned that being over the restaurant it would be noisy but actually it wasn't at all. Room and shared bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable

The public areas like the hallway and stairs weren't that clean. Not a massive problem as the room itself was.

non accessible, had to carry luggage up 4 floors. bugs came in when window was open.. no warnings given about this issue.

Please put a small desk in the room. It would be convenient for anyone who works remotely now.

Perfect distance until the river, old town, restaurants, museums, friendly staff.

The shared bathroom was almost never available. No air conditioning (opening the window would mean really loud noises from the street and from the clients at the bar, until 3 a.m. sometimes). The tv did not work. 4 floors up on a narrow stairway.

rooms are not clean and full of bugs. They said it is normal in this season(May) in Heidelberg. You can find every insect in your room. Big flying and non flying insects. After my protest, they changed my room. And thank you to Gerome(french boy who helped me to catch the bugs) but it ruined my night. I could not open my window in the second room in case bugs can enter the room. No elevator and steps ard hard. The only good thing is the restaurant. Heidelberg is super safe and has good transportation. You dont need to stay in old town. Come here for the restaurant

Our stay in this hotel was great : the room was clean and comfortable. The bar restaurant is also very nice, and the staff has been lovely to us. It's located in a quiet area, yet it's not far from the city center.
