Comfort Inn

Room was clean and liked that there there was no carpet.

Heater/AC was noisy and not adjustable.

Typical Comfort Inn breakfast which I like. Scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, waffles, sausages, yogurt, cold cereal, juice, coffee/tea, English Muffins, Muffins, Cream cheese for the Toast or English Muffin and fresh fruit. Great way to start your morning so when you check out, you don't have to find a restaurant to supplement your breakfast. Very clean and the staff were right on top of everything, i.e. more eggs/sausages and assisting patrons. The room was very clean as usual. The bed was real comfortable and it was quiet. I had to pay extra to have a bottom floor room with parking at my patio door. Worth it for the convenience, especially since we had a rain-storm. Staff were very friendly.

High price but not out of the norm

Were told because I cant walk that we would need to pay $10 for 1st floor room. Were told we had to pay another $15 for our pet plus they would have a $50 hold until the room was checked. Never advised of any of these charges before hand with booking.com so we were a little irritated to be advised of this. $285 per night was more than we paid for a hotel room in Toronto. I get it that they are on the highway for traveling but to be charged that much and then be given attitude because they do not have a elevator and after driving 13 hours I could not walk up the stairs. Also did not get it that being on the 1st floor was our assurance that our miniature dash hound would not have an accident in the room. None of these extra charges or question if we had a pet Were on the booking.com website!
