This place is amazing! The property is beautiful and the staff are amazing as well! You can go and sit out by THE KICKING HORSE RIVER ,build a fire in the firepit ( if burn ban is NOT in force) and hope you see an ELK cross the river like we did or see other wild life! They supply wood in the room and on porch to enjoy a fire in the fireplace in room! The restaraunt at the lodge has great food and if you want to drive a short distance to FIELDS ( about 15 minute drive) they have a great little place there called THE TRUFFLE PIG AND LODGE that has amazing food as well and some of the best Blueberry pie I have ever tasted!

The online photos are very deceiving. You think you are getting a cabin in an area by itself, when in reality the cabins are bunched super close. The breakfast was good.
Very over priced for what it is. Also for me, the cabin smelled of smoke, which my asthma didn’t like. My husband didn’t like that there was no TV. That’s his way to unwind at then end of the day. Bad lighting. I had to get a flashlight out to be able to see to use the coffee maker.
