Great location right next to the Papineau metro, grocery store a minute walk away, cheap price, staff were incredibly nice. They let me check out late because my vehicle was in a garage that didn't open until 11.
The couple that was staying next to me were *incredibly* loud. Up at all hours playing loud music. This was definitely a unique case of disrespectful people because absolutely no one else staying in the hotel was audible from my room. Perhaps the hotel would be good to enfore "quiet hours" or something like that? I do not think it would be unreasonable. The only thing I actually would like to have had was a microwave in my room, which I made do without.

The proximity to the Metro and availability of Taxis on the street outside are a big plus. There are three grocery stores within walking distance is also a big plus. Sarkan was welcoming and very helpful on Check in and Check-out. He is only there on the weekend. Good internet.
No room service at all. Soap and shampoo dispensers and run out during the week. The coffee jar had less than a scoop of coffee. The coffee machine water intake should be cleaned. No access to the reception desk from inside the hotel. No convenient place to hung up clothes. The main door switch controls the bedside lights, meaning that computer and phone will not be charged in the morning if those plugs are used. The TV does not work as instructed.
