Proximity to the beach was excellent and the room was cozy. Loved the kitchenette and balcony as well.

Loud ice machine outside my door, dirty fridge door, sticky floor and surfaces, toilet backed up twice. price leaped up 20% when we checked in for some reason, loud speaker tent under my window

The staff were very welcoming and accomodating when we asked for clean sheets because ours were all wrinkled. I think they were just old as the clean sheets appeared the same when we changed them. The location and the view is why I booked with the Schooner and we were not dissapointed. The sunrise from the balcony was wonderful!! The parking was also convenient.
I knew from the reviews that the hotel was outdated, but be prepared - it is *very outdated and could have been cleaner. We were only staying one night so it wasn't that big of a deal, and the positives made up for it. However, be aware that there is not a restaurant or even a continental breakfast offered either.
