The hotel allowed to stay with a dog and to park a Uhaul truck, the staff was very helpful.
I got a room wihtout a kitchenette as advertized, only with a fridge. Slight smell in the room from people previously smoking in the room.

I am currently on an extended road trip throughout Alberta and my only plan at the outset of the trip is to explore the whole province and take it one day at a time. I didn’t book any accommodations before I started because I don’t like feeling as if I must stick to a schedule of any kind. I am finding accommodations as I go.
Having said all of that, I prefer motel style rooms because I like the convenience of having my vehicle just a few feet from my front door. Chateau Motel will never be mistaken for the Four Seasons and I certainly wasn’t expecting it to be.
It was clean, in a good location and you can’t beat the price.
I only spent one night there and I didn’t notice anything negative.

The motel allows small dogs which I appreciated. It is located near a day surgery clinic that I was going to so that was very convenient. 5 minutes away.
It could use some fixing up. Paint and change the carpet (kinda smells) ect.
