Breakfast was excellent. The only problem I had was arriving a lot of construction in the area. What did you like?
That was the only thing that I didn’t like was a construction around the hotel when I arrived. Everything else was almost perfect.

Everything, staff was so nice, continental breakfast lovely. Room was cozy, the rooms were small and had personality, unlike the uniform places today! I liked that fine old hotel feel. There were people there celebrating and having fun.
Because it’s old it has few unused electric plugs to power up the
Plethora of devices we lug around these days. They had to take turns.

The lady on reception was really welcoming and helpful. The location is really nice. The lady making cocktails was super as was the breakfast.
I haven’t ever given a bad review for a hotel but sad to say I was very disappointed. We only stayed for one night and our room left a lot to be desired. The wardrobe area was totally dark, the light bulb seemed to be missing the room was very noisy with other guests doors slamming. I noted when we were there that there is to be a total refit in 2027 (I think) so I am sure the bedrooms will improve. We were doing a road trip staying in 8 different hotels and compared to those we felt we were overcharged.
