Une vraie expérience à Québec. Jean nous a accueilli dans son univers : passionné des années 20 et de l'art déco, la maison est remplie de petits trésors qui rendent le séjour unique. Un grand merci pour l'accueil, les histoires et les petits déjeuners délicieux dans un univers année 20 bien sûr !

Monsieur Jean ist ein wunderbarer Host und hat das Haus stilecht mit Art Déco Möbeln und Einrichtungsdetails aus der Zeit eingerichtet, die mit moderner Einrichtung gut verbunden werden. Das Haus liegt verkehrsgünstig aber ruhig und einen Parkplatz auf der Straße zu bekommen, ist unproblematisch. Ein Bus fährt von dort in 20 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum und Monsieur Jean gibt gute Tipps und Informationen über Wissenswertes und praktische Aspekte des Stadtbesuchs. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Située juste à côté d’une ligne directe pour le centre du vieux Québec donc pratique.
Très bons petits déjeuners
Salle de bain partagée ; ça ne nous a pas dérangé (et c’était annoncé bien sûr), mais j’imagine que certaines personnes ne doivent pas apprécier.
Partage avec une autre chambre c’est tout

Very pretty decor (especially upstairs) that are in the 20s theme. It is a quiet neighbourhood and the house is dog friendly! Crepes and french toast were excellent - some of the best I have had. Owner speaks sufficient English to be informative and has some pamphlets to share of nearby attractions.
This is a B&B in someone's home - not a hotel. It is important to be aware that there is not a separate section for the guests and only one bathroom so depending on your preference and needs, this may not suit you. The owner sleeps at the front entrance to the house and the doors did not open easily creating a lot of noise which can make coming and going problematic. I did my best to sneak in and out but I really felt horrible doing it, especially because I had the dog to navigate as well.
One of the beds in the twin room was comfortable but the other was dreadful. Unfortunately, there was hair on the good bed's pillow and it smelt like someone else had been there recently. I wasn't very comfortable the two nights I stayed there.
The owner is nice enough but rouses to anger fairly quickly. He was exceptionally rude to me when I had to come back to the house to pick up my laptop that I had forgotten. There was some confusion over payment method (I thought it went through Booking.com but he only accepts cash/etransfer) - not the first time that this has happened on my travels so hardly worth being upset about but I suspect this triggered him. Regardless, I came back and kindly retrieved the device only t have him take a photo(s) of me and my car on his iPad. Strange.
I didn't enjoy my stay and don't recommend.
