Breakfast was adequate and the rooms are in dire need of a refresh. However, the staff, particularly Anamica who was at the front desk when we arrived, were phenomenal. Anamica was dealing with a very angry person while I waited and she did so in a calm and professional manner. I was impressed. She was pleasant and accomodating throught our 3 nights at this property as were every staff member we interacted with.
The entire place is in desparate need of a refresh and I don't just mean a coat of paint. While the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the tub was stained, the bathroom grout discoloured and the paint dull and lifeless.

That we were able to get a connecting room
The fact that we drove 3+ hours to stay at a hotel with a pool and slide (or evening entertainment) and rolled up there to find out it was closed. No prior warning. The bathrooms in both adjoining rooms were so dirty and gross
