Prestige Oceanview Hotel Prince Rupert

Continental Breakfast was nice. Would have preferred some hot items such as sausages, ham etc. The staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating.

A desk in every room.

The location is good, the Air conditioning/heating works well and it was easy to maintain the right temperature in the room. The beds were nice and firm

There are a few things about this hotel which detract from it's posture as one of the best hotels in Price Rupert. First of all, it rains a lot in Prince Rupert, often very hard. For a hotel to not have a covered place where you can unload your car out of the rain is really LAME! The only place to unload your vehicle here is in the back alley which is poorly lite at night, amid some big puddles and with some shady people hanging about. If it's raining hard, you're going to wish that you were staying across the street at the Inn on the Harbour. The other thing is that hotels need to get away from having carpets in the rooms. The carpet in our room really needed a good shampoo. Also, the ceiling panels were a bit askew with some of the edges showing. The second time we stayed here, the room was a bit better but didn't have a desk or chair to sit in which is inconvenient if you want to use a laptop

Hotel Staff were super-feiendly and always smiling. Basic breakfast but just what we needed and the serving staff so lovely. Room was great.

Clean and well located.

We stayed 2 nights and the room was not serviced. Only the bins were emptied. Whether we stay 2 or more nights the price is the same. The Level of service also should.
