Gorgeous, romantic, amazing service

The property is beautiful, with a charming main building, wooded pool/spa area, and lake amenities. It feels like a little French Canadian oasis.

The location is lovely.

We were kept awake both nights that we stayed at the resort with the loud music from the restaurant. One of the speakers was directly under our room and we could not sleep. One both nights we had to call the reception to ask them to turn it down. The first night, they turned it down around 10.30. The second night they turned it down around 11.20 after we called and then the music started again at 11.30. We were very upset and when we spoke to the hotel they didn't seem to really care. They offered me 15% off a future stay but did nothing to compensate for the actual stay. As it is unlikely that I will stay here again, the discount has no real value to me. I eventually managed to speak to Clementine, one of the supervisors and was extremely disappointed with her tone and attitude. It is a shame that a lovely hotel like this, that presents itself as a relaxing resort should have just disregard for the clients' comfort when staying there. Having said that, the concierge was lovely and the front desk staff were very pleasant.
