This is a very basic lodging right in the Fernie village. It is ski in and walk out, but not a long walk. The staff was great. Parking is free and right there. Rooms have a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. There is nice space to congregate in the lobby. I appreciated that this place was over $1,000 less than staying across the village at the nicer hotel.
The place could use a thorough cleaning. Superficially it was fine but don’t look in the corners. There is no ice machine. There is no elevator.

The location was great. There was a hole in the wall when I checked in, which I was informed "had been there for some time". The drains to the bath and sink didn't work well. A very basic place that needs more maintenance than it was getting
I don't expect holes in the wall of my room, and I expect the drains to work. I paid a premium price, which turned out to be solely based on the hotel's location at the base of the lifts.
