Very helpful staff and great location to enjoy San Diego

Property was located not too far from downtown with quick access to La Jolla and Torrey Pines. Staff was excellent in every way and accommodated our requests when they could. Elva was great when she received us and helped me upgrade to a bigger room knowing we had a child. Breakfast option downstairs was a good option with a kid. Property also had many restaurant options for dinner and lunch.

Booking got the information incorrectly and set me up for 3 which the hotel doesnt have any room with 3 beds

Construction and tapes all over the property never experience that in any double tree hotel

Breakfast disappointing

Pool is nice

Breakfast is scarce and awful, literally 3 types of cereals, 2 kind of fruits -oranges and apples-, pancakes, oatmilk, bacon, cramble eggs and that is it. They do not have natural juices. There is no more. Very little for almost $30. So far the worst breakfast at a hotel ever. Marriot is in front of the hotel so do you a favor and better take breakfast there.

description of the room is wrong on the website room with only king bed advertised as kingbed+standard bed+ sofa bed which isnt true, towels and sheest were dirty and light cleaning (new towels, fixing bed etc.) did not performed everyday as it should have

I will definitely recommend this property to guests visiting San Diego

Great location of the freeways. Staff at registration and the restaurant bar are extremely nice and helpful. The patio has a number of fun entertainment options. Rooms are large and modern. Such a great value.

Comfortable but lacks the perks

The location was great for where we needed to be and was very clean.

The one working elevator took forever. The breakfast Buffet for $25 is not worth the price. They served the same breakfast you can get at a holiday inn for free. Also some condiments you have to ask the staff for instead of it being out. One of the front desk workers was very rude when I asked if I can use a pair of scissors. They declined this request.

Las instalaciones principales están prácticamente remodeladas, los jabones que ofrecen huelen delicioso y todos los días a todas horas ofrecen galletas calientitas y riquísimas!!!! Solamente debes pedirlas en el front desk

The property is fine We stayed on the second floor The AC was loud I could not sleep we had to switch room and got a room on the 3rd floor. The AC was much better not loud Make sure to test AC and the toilet if you want to stay at this property

Overall, not a bad stay

Overall, a pleasant stay. There were some people making noise down below near the pool, but they quieted down once my husband called the front desk twice as well as the area closing down for the night.

So, on the booking.com website, we booked a “King” room. The description said that there was one double, one extra-large double two plus a sofa bed. This was important because there are four of us, and my husband and son are both over 6 feet tall and it doesn’t work for my two sons to share the sofa bed. When we got there, we were told that the King room was a king and a sofa bed. The other option was a room with two queens, which is what we ended up having to pick. It would be nice if the description was a little more clear next time. They did comp us for the parking fees, which was nice.

good sound insulation

To be honest, I'm shocked. There was a hole between the bathtub and the wall; when I washed in the shower, water leaked through and everything flowed out into the corridor onto the carpet. The taps were leaking and as a result there was a yellow stain of water in the bathroom. The bathroom fixtures are rusty. I am attaching a photo so that I will not be suspected of deception. Never set foot in Hilton again

Location, friendly staff

Room was definitely in need of new furniture and fixtures. Couch was filthy. Toilet squeaked loudly. Carpet was torn and ripped and dirty. Bed was uncomfortable. Needs a remodel for sure. Won't stay here again. Hilton should be ashamed.

It served its purpose. Staff was very welcoming. Best part of the stay.

The Elevators looked a little old, as well as the hallways; it looks like they need a little freshening up.

The TV wasn't in the right place next to the bed. The mattress was old. You could tell because there was an indent of my whole body in the mattress when I laid down.

Staff can be hospitable and pleasant. Explain all the benefits/credits the customer has

The check in process was fast, room was clean. The gym and pool is good. The attached restaurent makes it easy to have food. Apart from this i do not have much else to appreciate.

The kitchen to buy sandwitchs was not stocked regulary, especially for people who avoid meat, there arent many options. They even ran out of oats. The rooms/pathways could use more light. My worst experience was with the front desk - not at all friendly, very condesending, and unhelpful. They made us loose out food credits, stating we utilized all , when infact we had not. Also, they made a lot of things feel like gotcha, esp with expiring credits. Not all people know all terms and conditions, so its better if while checking in it is explained to customer. And paid parking? The parking is in open space and not even gated. Why would you want to charge per day for it?
