Lovely Hotel

Dirty and basic

The things that I liked about the property was that it was right next to the beach

The room we were allocated, was an interior view, which I was prepared to accept what I was not prepared for was the sight of that greeted me when I pull back the curtains. The lobby did not strike me as five star going in the elevator and coming out on the floor where our room was was worse. Dirty smelly carpets drink stained walls. Into out basic room which made travel lodge (the worst of them) look like pure luxury!!!! To then be greeted by what was described as “delux king room interior view” The sight that met us outside our window made me feel repulsed it a filthy mess That together with the feel of the reception, walk down the corridor and the room itself was enough to break me. This was report to be 4 star and in fact I wouldn’t have given it 2 stars! You will see from my previous reviews that I am a fair and honest reviewer, so please see this as a fair review. Also, the hotel tried to charge me $50 per night to use the beach and the hotel pool! Even though I insisted that they should’ve been included, they said in the small print it is not! Luckily for me overnight with much research, I found my original email that said it in black-and-white that it was included. Bearing in mind we were at this hotel for 36 hours – tonight I spent three hours in an argument with the hotel about fees and moving to a different room. could have honestly got on the plane

They said they upgraded my room. I requested a king bed they gave me two double beds wanted a king bed.!

Come for the location

Location is amazing. Bed was comfortable Hotel was overall nice and well maintained

Room was not ready when we arrived and we were told they did not have any rooms available (any rooms with a king bed) as we booked. They did clean a room and we ended up in a small corner room which did not have all the features listed when we booked. All soaps/lotions were empty. But room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant does not have any gluten free or vegan options. Felt the cost per night was not quite worth it, even with the prime location, especially for a weekday.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time.

The pool, breakfast, bed, beach setup, and location

They were 1.5 hours late checking us in (although they did give us a free update to a room with a bathtub, which offset the inconvenience). No streaming services or movie rentals, high prices on the food/drinks for the quality, bad acoustics in the bar/lounge, lack of clarity when booking about which rooms have bathtubs

Very disappointed, won't be back soon.

The staff & service at the bar were excellent & the food was above average. If I were walking on the Boardwalk, I might stop in for a drink. But stay here again? Never.

The room could have been cleaner. Carpet & furniture were stained. Front desk personnel were unprofessional. (Arguing loudly on the phone with a customer's inquiry). Front desk staff seemed indifferent. Asked for service to our room on the 2nd day. Was told no problem, yet no one came. Had to remove trash ourselves. It took 2 days to get a refrigerator which was supposed to be in the room. The view from the room was disgusting. Pigeon droppings & debris everywhere outside the window. Why was there a resort fee? Pool was closed & they have no spa.

Rooms need updating. Paid good money and there are screws holding the curtains to the sliders. Some moldy looking stuff on the walls. Staff and restaurants great. Just room a little disappointing.

great views, a couple of tweaks could make a big difference. For $500 in the dead of winter those items make a differenc

great views of the beach

it was 15 degrees outside and the room had the air conditioning on. the room was freezing. even with the heat on high, the system didn’t distribute the heat well. we were there for 20 hours. the room started to get warm as we were leaving. There was some one in our room when we walked in, unsettling. I wish you had room service.

This is a perfect hideaway - even in stormy, rainy seasons. Take your favorite books and playlists and enjou the retreat

The location is breathtaking. People are nice. Breakfast was super. Take a sea-front room, it is worth the additional fees.

Filthy.

nothing my stay was absolutely horrible

the room was FILTHY, the sheets were dirty, stains on the towels and housekeeping walked in on me like 30 mins after my checking into my room. it was just disgusting I was so uncomfortable

Disappointing

I liked the location

- No Internetservice in our room (husband had to work and since the internet didn`t work in our room he was pretty stressed out.) - We had 2 rain storms during our stay and each time the water came into the room because the windows didn`t seal correctly. Nobody really cared about it and we had to organize our own towels to soak up the mess. And man was it hard to get towels for the room. We didnt get room service every day anyways but when we requested fresh towels there were none available. We were 4 people and the cleaning lady could only manage to get us three. - moldy AC, Shower and stains all over the furniture (Couch, Headbaord) - We asked for a rollaway bed for our daughter and it was so incredibly uncomfortable that not even my daughter who hardly weighs anything could lay on it If you stay at the hotel for a quick weekend trip to party it certainly is in a great location. It seems like it was a great hotel at one time but now its just slowly falling apart because its not well cared for. First impression was great but then you take a closer look..........
