Pleasant

They fixed the problem and moved us to a new room , however had to split our family up

Room was not cleaned with used towels etc .. smelled

the rooms were average

The sink in our room was fully blocked, the phone did not function and the shower had pink mold in it. Contacted front desk twice but told us that no maintenance was available until next day, also she told us she could give us a new room King size but we were 4 adults. The price was high.

Over all it was okay.

It was a very clean comfortable room.

The breakfast room was very small and hard to move around with so many people in it. I realize its only a breakfast room but most people check out around the same time so a bit bigger room would be nicer. Also the rooms themselves could use a mat right by the door leading to the outside. We came in when a rain storm was going on and the floor by the door got soaked.

Okay.

Breakfast was a typical continental . Something to eat but never like a normal served breakfast. We had a served breakfast in the Pembroke Ontario Best Western last year which was great.

When I got a glass of wine from the bar to take to my room the glass had sugar coated on it around the top rim. It was disgusting.

Satisfied our requirements

Staff was very friendly and helpful, location great, Check in and out processes very smooth.

The excessive use of disposable dishes and cutlery at breakfast was very disappointing, so much preventable waste! A greater selection of fresh fruit at breakfast would also have been appreciated. The water slide was really fun, but something must not be afixed correctly in the slide, as both my kids swimsuits were ripped in the bottom area after going down a few times.

Exceptional

We choose the Edmundston Best West because we had stayed there one week ago on our way to Nova Scotia from Ontario. It is the half way mark, very easy to get to off of the Trans-Canada Highway, close to gas stations, places to see and eat. The room was very clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. It offered a very good breakfast menu with lots of food variety.

beautiful, clean and modern but caotic and inconsiderate of paying guests.

the property is gorgeous, modern and very clean!

at the time of our stay, there was a Fashion Show being held in the lounge and lobby. it was very loud and we were told not to “loiter”. it was to end at 9 pm, but after 10:00 the music was still thumping and our room was only 5 doors away from it! I felt like I was sleeping in a bar! I had driven over 1100 Kms and had experienced the passing of my father and his funeral and was extremely exhausted. Paying well over $200- this is not what I had in mind for comfort and rehabilitation. furthermore, I have mobility issues and there was no wheelchair access, in fact- the parking lot was so blocked, I had to park in the furthest most corner of the back parking lot. I expressed all my concerns to the front desk staff who were understanding and sought to bring resolution to that issue, although not successful. However, we had to leave the hotel a couple times and the walking was way too much for me. the misoc did stop after we called at 10:15 pm. I would stay at this hotel again given how beautiful and modern and clean it was. but they need to reconsider their guests when hosting such events I. such a Public place, so close to the rooms where weary travellers are sleeping.

they changed our accommodation to a room we didn’t want as it was not to our liking or approval. we were no notified of the change and therefore had to cancel our reservation. We Do Not expect to be charged for this reservation

From the moment I walked in the door to the lovely breakfast before I left, everything was clean, well maintained, and the staff were phenomenal. The hotel was very comfortable and was very easy to access off the highway. I'll be back!

Newly renovated, pet-friendly hotel with excellent breakfast and friendly staff!

Newly renovated and the rooms were well laid out. The unique lighting panels in the rooms were perfect! The pocket door in the entrance area of our pet friendly room was an added bonus as it kept our dog from running out the main door into the hallway. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff throughout the hotel. We have stayed here several times during the last few years and will continue to make this our stopover! Thanks again!

The swimming pool was closed during my stay ans that was the only reason I booked this hotel. After I complained they gave me a ticket for a pool near the hotel and it was also closed. Terrible experience!

Very enjoyable

The entire decor was fantastic. Very clean and impressive like brand new. There were many people checking in when we arrived and the gentleman at the front desk was efficient yet pleasant helpful and very friendly.

Perhaps there could be more staff at check in when large crowds are checking in but to be honest we did not mind the shirt delay given the fantastic attitude and helpful nature of the gentleman at check in. He deserves much praise for his professionalism

Uncomfortable, unfriendly staff and breakfast served on paper plates!

The staff were rude and abrupt. The breakfast was served with plastic cutlery on paper plates. They welcome pets yet charge a fee for them. While the hotel is "non-smoking" they allow guests to smoke outside their patio doors. Walking through a cloud of smoke to bring luggage into our room was off putting. The lights in the room are on a motion sensor; we had had to get up and walk around to turn the lights back on. The TV picture didn't fill the screen and the quality was terrible. It appeared they were using an old cable TV cable vs an HTMI cable. The parking lot was a skating rink. We were traveling from Ontario home to Atlantic Canada and had just left Cornwall where we stayed at the Best Western. We gave them a 5 STAR rating. It is hard to believe they are the same hotel chain. We will not stay at the Best Western in Edmunston, New Brunswick again!

Amazing staff but Extremely low quality rooms with minimal room maintenance and comfort.

Good location, beautiful entrance reception and breakfast area. Easy parking even with the huge snow banks. Super Friendly staff overall. A cleaner went above and beyond running after me to return a phone charger I forgot. Great breakfast selection and friendly morning staff.

Broken entrance door on the north side so anyone could walk in, broken remote control where you couldn’t turn the channel up, tv was poor visual static even when we tried to adjust the connection, room blankets were coarse and uncomfortable to the point where the blanket woke me up scratching my skin - they felt like they belonged on a patio outdoors and not in my expensive bed, all 4 pillows were lumpy, bed springy and uncomfortable, floor wasn’t carpet but a weird plastic that squeaked when walked on, no hotel guide or QR code, no ice box, no additional pen or paper, extremely dated room that felt like I was in the 80s, hallway smelled like chlorine from the pool in the evening and by later it smelled like dog urine, no comforter on the bed just an awful coarse blanket on a sheet, no additional bedding, the morning cleaning staff tried to enter the room twice before 10:30am when checkout is 11am so we felt rushed to pack to get out before 11 (we didn’t have the sign on the door handle which may have prevented this) and finally the hotel booked me on the wrong night and texted me about checking in a day early and I had to call them to correct it. thank goodness they still had a room on New Year’s Eve! I’m so, so disappointed with my stay here when I’ve had such good experiences with other Best Westerns.
