Basic, comfortable and spacious accommodation

Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and parking right outside. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and good cooking and bathroom facilities. Good value for money.

Rest day in northern Vancouver island.

Quiet, clean, first floor, convenient bike storage. Nice bathroom with shower (down the hall). Great hall on second floor with kitchen. Large hall plenty of room. Arriving late on ferry, mgr waited for me and got me into the hostel.

There are no downsides.

Brilliant place to stop after arriving by summer schedule ferry. Frendly and welcomming staff.

Room was clean, and fresh. Lovely common area and kitchen space. Nice big, clean, and comprehensive washroom (bathfoom / shower).

Room was very tight, just about managed to get in. I don't usually use hostles so can't compare except the Queen room we hade before was nearly 2x the size, so was expecting a bigger room. Perhaps advertising the sq foot size may have helped??

Enjoyed my stay!

Stayed there one night before starting a kayaking trip. The facility is basic but it’s clean and comfortable. The owners are super nice, going out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee shops etc.

Nice backpacker to stay at in port hardy

Late check out at 1am as we arrived by ferry from prince rupert Hostel was clean and the common areas such as lounge and kitchen were very spacious

We were lucky to have a quiet environment during our stay. It was a simple room, for one night it was enough, we had everything we needed, the location was great

Very happy with my stay, great option for a quick night.

Very economical and great facilities.

Stairs to the room can be challenging if you have heavy luggage.

Exceptional

Reception staff were very friendly even when we were arriving at midnight. The room was cosy and bed was comfortable and kitchen area was large.

I would have preferred not to have carpeting in the bedroom.

Very good

A very nice lady welcomed us at the reception. The room was small but the common area and the kitchen were huge so it was not an issue. The hostel was clean and had a good location.

Wonderful hostel

Clean, quiet, secure, great kitchen. Spacious lounge. Beds quite comfortable. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Exceeded my expectations for a hostel, would definitely stay here again. Wish there were more hostels like this!

Rooms were a little small. Would have liked an extra pillow.

Good

I arrived very late, but the manager met me at the hostel. Thank you!! Room was clean and the shared bath and toilet were very clean.

You will have a great stay - we would come back again

Everything was very clean: bedroom, bathroom, common area Bed was very comfortable Common area was well furnished Staff was very nice, helpful and accomodating Good and convenient location

Not much: We didn't have a lot of dinner options in town at the time but this was most likely due to COVID Bedroom noise isolation was not the greatest but overall it was not a problem

Great location, great value, comfy bed. The manager Anne is lovely, very helpful. I will stay here again.
