Clean comfy great staff well located

Can’t sit for breakfast inside

The bed wasn’t as comfortable as previous stay, the heating unit made a smell

Easy to find and my request for a quiet room on the backside overlooking the river was implemented.

We checked in after 5pm, went up to the room and it was in quite the disarray. Apparently it was supposed to be taken out of service for carpet cleaning but I guess a miscommunication somewhere. Someone immediately came upstairs with new keys for another room with many apologies. The first morning they had water line issues, so unfortunately no coffee/ hot beverages and limited items at the breakfast bar. Just a few bottled waters for the Keurig in the room. Disappointed but it was out of their control. In the room the lamp and the phone did not work, I couldn’t get wifi so I had to go in person for some extra items and inform them of said deficiencies. I was told they recently took over the hotel, slowly working thier way thru the “to do list”.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. One of the fellows fixed/replaced our lamp immediately. The shower was large and easily accessed. Bathroom was clean. For the price I kind of expected it to be more modern and updated.

Walk through and stairs run down and rusty. Broken tile around the jetted tub in our room (that we didn’t use).
