Had a kitchenette and comfy beds and well stocked
The lighting is awful, a bit far from everything. They must have been very short staffed this year. No towels for the pool, not many food options at T bar they were out of a lot. We stay during off season lots and have never had that problem. Parkade was brutally small and I scraped my car getting out.

I want to give a huge compliment to their management team. After seeing my initial feedback, a representative reached out to me directly. The woman I spoke with was very kind, genuinely concerned about our experience, and made it clear that they truly value cleanliness. She explained that our unit had unfortunately been empty since the end of the winter season, which contributed to its oversight. I appreciate her call/sincerity, and her efforts to rectify the situation. I am genuinely looking forward to returning and enjoying the property under better circumstances!
Initial feedback:
Our actual stay in Horsethief Lodge #818 was, unfortunately, very disappointing due to cleanliness issues. The unit felt outdated and dingy. The carpets looked unvacuumed, the air smelled stale, and we encountered multiple issues: calcified faucets with stray hairs, an uncleaned upstairs toilet bowl, a ripped shower curtain covered in mold/pink bacteria, and visible splatters/stains on the walls, dining chairs, and living room furniture.
Because we were only there for two nights and mostly just used the space to sleep and because the sheets and the downstairs bathroom were thankfully in better condition, we made it work. It originally felt like cleanliness was not a priority for this specific building, and it was clear unit 818 needed some serious TLC. However, given the response from management to make things right, I am optimistic that this was an isolated oversight and look forward to a much better experience next time!
