Hampton Inn & Suites is very conveniently located close to the Air Force Academy, several other hotels, and restaurants. Check-in was efficiently quick, staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms are as you would expect from Hampton Inn & Suites: well equipped, practical, and average-sized. The kids enjoyed the big indoor pool and the outdoor spa. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast that was very similar to what you get in other hotels of the same category in the United States - not necessarily what all Europeans expect and like, but what you get used to in the US.
No complaints - this was as expected. Note that you are about 10 minutes away from downtown Colorado Springs, and that traffic gets intense.

The location.
We arrived at 1440 and went to check in and we were promptly that check in is at 1500 and were invited to hang out until then. We were not checked in until 1600. It was very disapointing to have to wait so long after a long day of travel.
