Amazing suite, far exceeded our expectations it was so lovely.

Bathtub waste pipe came away and water seeped from under the bathtub all over bathroom floor. We mopped up.
Phone number provided in text instructions was old number. Staff at resort gave us another phone number to call
Handyperson entered unit. Left 2 bath towels. No followup to advise if problem fixed. We did not use bath/ shower again

Bed was comfy and well supplied with sheets and pillows.
Balcony was huge with amazing ever changing views and table and chairs that we could use inside or out
Bathroom was good and it was great to have a toaster, kettle and coffee maker, plus crockery and cutlery. The utensils were a bonus, don’t usually find tin opener, scissors, chopping board, etc. sink to wash up in.
Staff in the whole resort were very friendly and very helpful. Visited the bear refuge, did some of the hikes, used the gondola and chairlift at the resort.
Kitchen area was small, needed a bit of planning to use it and the coffee maker and its box of coffee/milk took up most of the space but I worked it out.
Some rooms are let, some suites owned and lived in or sublet so it would be a lottery as to who was next to you or above and below but it was quiet during the quiet hours while we were there.
Our room was by the stairs on 3rd floor which for some reason had a continuous hum from lights, ice maker above or just the general air system which I found annoying overnight but other people wouldn’t.

Picturesque location.
Check in was difficult. Instructions were sent by email earlier in the day, however, we were travelling through mountains through the day and did not get email until after we arrived by which time they were redundant. You could not just check into this place, you had to find someone in another building and location. The lodge is some distrance from Golden and the highway. The checking in process was stressful and difficult and the return to Golden for the night was not appealing. Nothing was easy to find but eventually we got checked in and settled. Then the accommodation was satisfactory but nothing special.
