My wife and I stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Fort St. John one night, as we had an early morning flight from the airport and didn't want to drive an hour from our house to the airport at 3:00am. The hotel had my reservation and the check-in process was smooth. I did feel a $100.00 deposit for this hotel for one night was rather steep. It's not that fancy a hotel. Supper at the hotel's restaurant was quite good, and our server was amazing! We left before breakfast started, so I can't comment on that. Our room was clean, but the stuccoed walls are rather dated. I'm not overly concerned with having a high tech super modern hotel, so it didn't bother me, but I was surprised by that. The front desk gave us our wake up call in time and our check out process was smooth. The hotel is centrally located both close to the Alaska Highway and downtown Fort St. John. It's also less than fifteen minutes to the North Peace Regional Airport, which was nice. Overall ,our experience was positive, and we may stay there again in the future should we have a need to overnight in Fort St. John.
There were only two things I didn't really like. I feel that a $100.00 deposit for one night's stay at any hotel anywhere is too steep, and especially a small hotel in a small city like Fort St. John. My other comment isn't really a dislike, but more a comment that the hotel may wish to update the decor in the rooms. While my wife and I appreciate retro, I'm not sure how many others would be surprised at finding stucco walls in the guest rooms. Given the age of the stucco, I'd also be concerned about pieces of it falling off in the bed while we sleep. Other than that everything was good.

It was easy enough to checkin, although the person who did check me in provided me my room number but failed to inform me that it was accessed only through the outside of the building; which had me walking around confused for a little bit trying to find the appropriate room number.
The location was perfect for what I needed, as I had a really early flight out the following morning and wanted to be relatively close to the airport.
The room was quite disheveled, one of the tiles was missing from the ceiling and the room smelled of cigarettes.
