Great welcome and very helpful advice and info about Cabot Trail as well as where to eat. Even got to see a couple of moose on the Sky Trail!

Nice location and Motel!

The place is very well located, right downtown, with different Restaurants nearby and there is a really nice Cafe right on the other side of the street. The room was also very clean, which we appreciated very much.

The prices in the Restaurant. The food is very good and fresh, but we were expecting a little bit more and a bigger quantity, for the prices we paid.

Very good

The historical value, place and decoration were perfect. Netflix service was excellent! Relax and friendly establishment.

The bed was too soft and small. I woke up with a back ache. It would be great to have a microwave in the room.

Great location. Don't book 2 beds unless you check the room size first.

Telegraph House Motel was in a great location! Restaurant on site was delicious. Building was quaint and reflective of a beautiful Baddeck home. Staff were very pleasant. Great patio space out front and on the second level. Large public bathroom on our floor which came in handy.

Our room in particular was very, very small. We asked for 2 beds...can't remember if we knew they were single beds, but they were squished into a tiny room. One small dresser and only 1 chair. Window barely opened and had to be wedged with a piece of wood. Beautiful property but overall it's a little tired looking. Our room had paint peeling off the windows and looked like it could use freshening.

Exceptional

Location, clean and comfortable with a terrific staff. Had a fabulous dinner at the restaurant too.

No complaints at all. This is an older establishment that is well taken care of in the perfect location.

Great location Very clean and quiet. We also had partial view of the water from our balcony.

Be aware, if you are a light sleeper, the A/c in the room is a portable unit and is quite noisy. Beds are also quite soft.

Has a nice history, and antique furnishings.

No elevator. We were on 3rd floor, good view of bay. 1 queen bed. We did not have refrigerator or microwave in the room, and our friends in the annex had both, and a very large room.

This hotel was comfortable and convenient. The food was farm to table and delicious. Nice owner!

The dinner was excellent. The owner and staff were kind and helpful. They made us feel at home.

Central location. Quiet. Friendly staff

.No breakfast service or even tea and coffee maker in room. If I had realized restaurant was not open for breakfast I would not have booked. My mistake. There are good breakfast options in town however We were on 3rd floor,nice room with balcony but it is an old inn so no elevator. The stairs are very steep. Bit much for us as 70 and 80 year olds olds.

Friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome after a long drive! Told me about a good dinner and breakfast spot, locally! The rooms had a great homey feel for me!

Charming room, friendly host, quiet and comfortable. Complementary Netflix and Roku. Love the Keurig coffee maker. We came for 1 night and stayed 3.

Pretty good but didn’t get the room we were expecting….off season rates should definitely apply!

Disappointed that we were put in the motel room instead of the main hotel as we had expected.

Exceptional

Quaint, historic building. Walkable to a few restaurants, but easy drive to other sites/locations. Although the hotel looked fully booked, the room was still quiet. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.
