Room clean, quiet, private. Staff very nice, gave the wifi password before I asked, which I appreciated since I would have forgotten, necessitating another visit to the office. There were no smells, like animal or tobacco, and the door was secure.

The pillows smelled of other people. I do not believe the linen wasn't clean, I think the pillows were just old. But it was gross and immediately made me wonder if there might be bedbugs or cockroaches simply because I equated the smell with dirtiness and dirtiness with infestation, which probably wasn't true but they should be aware that stinky pillows and the like reflect poorly on the establishment. The mattress was okay- a little hard & sunk in on one side, but not a deal-breaker. My room faced somebody's backyard, which was unkempt, and certainly not pleasant to view. Hardly the hotel's fault, but hey, you asked. The price for the room was much more than it deserved. That hotel was old and tired looking. The price should have been at least half of what it was. Let's face it. About $240 for Plymouth, NH? A podunk town with nothing remarkable around it.
