So charming! The owners were lovely, the sheets divine, the clawfoot bathtub quite luxurious and the furry faced reception pup was ever so sweet. Breakaways delicious. We’ll be back!

Didn't have the breakfast, just don't eat, but that didn't stop the host from trying to her best to make me everything under the sun, just so she could serve me. All of the staff went over and above, by Loki was my favorite. Sorry guys haha

A welcomed sojourn This was a hidden gem. We arrived tired from a day on the road and landed in the town of Coleman. We arrived early in the afternoon and were greeted by Dawn and dog Loki, we asked if we could check in early and they were able to accommodate us. Dawn gave us a tour of the house which included a beautiful outdoor space to lounge in the sun, a small library with many cooking books, Canadian history books, fantasy books, and Roman classics as well as the most welcoming arm chairs for the serious reader. In addition there is a small place for espresso and coffee and the FAMOUS cookie jars that have the most delicious cookies. The rooms were clean and nice. The showers were hot and the WiFi was fast. In the morning we were greeted downstairs with a full breakfast of fruit, yogurt, and muffins before being treated to a hearty entree of waffles topped with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon - so delicious! All served with orange juice and coffee. We wish we could have stayed for longer than just one night. This was a fantastic experience. Dawn was a wonderful host and we hope should we be passing through Coleman again we would love to stay again. It checks all of the boxes for us: friendly host, clean and welcoming accommodations, great amenities, and also at a very reasonable price if you consider that you will get cookies and a delicious breakfast. Please consider supporting Dawn and her business, it was a wonderful experience and we would love to see others enjoy the same excellent experience.
