Sensational Southside Saskatoon stay!

The hotel was in a great location, easy to find and close to a lot of great South side amenities and homes. We were greeted by a lovely desk clerk, Cheyenne? She was efficient, friendly, professional, full of genuine smiles and a welcoming demeanor! She filled us in on all the available facilities and hours the hotel has to offer. She even took the time to let us know that there was a fairly "full house" that weekend and that if we preferred, we could take breakfast back to our rooms; just a little tip but it made us feel like family! I had a little struggle with my credit card and she came up with a great solution in a jiffy, stopped my panic attack before it even started :) The lobby is quite lovely and when we realized we had forgotten to bring Tylenol the shelves of sundries came in very handy! The complimentary breakfast on Sunday was delicious! Sausage rounds, individual omelettes, hash brown patties... and that was just the hot buffet! Hard boiled eggs, assorted breads, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice made for a great start to the day. :) I might suggest a bagel or a fruity muffin as an alternative.? The hallways, elevators and rooms were all very clean and well appointed. Lovely welcoming design in the room, beds were super comfy, just right, great pillows (thanks for the "welcome home", it truly made it personal), and the sheets were sooooo soft! The lovely artwork DID give me sweet dreams :) LOVED that it had 4 USB ports available on the double plug ins by the bedside, we used them all! lol. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to use the pool area as there were several sports teams staying who made great use of it and we thought we'd just let them enjoy the fun. All in all a very impressive hotel stay, our fist since COVID, and I must say, I will certainly be looking for Home Inn and Suites properties when I travel next.

Temperature ran a little hot, had to open the window, having said that, it was nice to have a window that opens!

Would come back for sure but stay on a different floor. More cookies please.

Flexible at check in. Cookies. Waterpark area.

Was in room 112. Extremely loud past quiet hours. Hard to sleep. I think there were a lot of family reunions and they were using the breakfast area late at night to hang out but my room had no sound control between us. Also, sometimes no cookies.

Breakfast was good, location is great!

The bathroom was honestly quite disgusting. There was hair all around the fixtures, half used bars of soap in the bottom of the tub and I found two rings (that I turned into the front counter) in the bathroom as well. I think the bathroom was probably skipped or not paid enough attention to while cleaning.

Exceptional

Beautiful hotel, impressive pool, huge carpet-free rooms. Immaculate and well maintained, and beds and pillows are super comfy. Location conveniently walkable to tons of stores and restaurants. Friendly, genuine staff. Great stay, would come back.

Perfect Staycation!

Had a staycation with family! Pool and waterside are amazing, especially for kids! Great location to all amenities. Easy access to get around the city. Friendly staff and comfortable place! Great continental hot breakfast, too!

We enjoyed our stay and would stay at your hotel again.

We enjoyed to pool, the room and the breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean.

I'm always game for a good deal, so the price could have been better.

It was alright, I will consider other options in the future.

Sheets were soft. Room was clean. Nice long table in the room. Check-in was very fast. Even received a check-in from the desk once we were settled in the room.

The breakfast area was not clean. Several items were out of service - fridge, juice area (although juice was provided). The lady managing the breakfast barely came out from behind the back (or she would make a quick loop and return). It didn't sound loud and no dishes were banging so everyone was unsure what she was doing back there when items needed refilling. When she was asked about knives, her response was - there isn't any, I have to wash them (she did not proceed to wash knives for the crowd of people asking). The pancake machine was broken. There weren't any bagels (like there usually is). It was disappointing and the lady managing the breakfast made it worse than it needed to be. I had breakfast at 8:30am when most items were stocked. As it picked up around 9, she appeared to be avoiding stocking cutlery, breakfast items, milk, etc.

I enjoyed my stay at home in and suites and would 10/10 recommend!

Easy to get to location, on south end of the city but right off circle, even going to the sasktel centre on the north end only took about 20 minutes. Awesome breakfast! Lots of options. Wasn't able to try the waterside or pool but it looked very nice and clean.

No complaints. It was awesome!

It was ok. But we won’t come back. Pool and elevator/hallway was too dirty.

I liked the room design. Good water pressure. Very good front desk and kitchen staff. Nice location of hotel.

Very dirty hallways and elevator. Employee with very gross dumpster came on elevator with us. Pool seemed run down and dirty. Bathroom was tiny.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!

The breakfast was very good and the proximity to restaurants was good and within walking distance. The price was fantastic!

The room was clean for the most part but there was a French fry under the stool when we moved it and the bathroom floor around the baseboards wasn’t very clean.

Clean, quiet and relaxing

It was quiet and clean.

The breakfast was always sparse. Im not sure if we just came a the wrong time but both times but there was no bread or English muffins either time. a few strips of bacon and that was pretty much it.

Great place to stay

Really liked our room. Its was nice and clean. Very large room. The pool was nice and warm. Super clean as well.

Not much to not like about this hotel. I will say the breakfast isnt the best. I do wish the offered real butter and cream cheese with bagles.
