I liked the neighborhood and the staff were very nice.
The hotel needs upgrades in addition to better services/provisions. When I checked in to my room, there was no soap, shampoo, or lotion. The AC unit was weak and blocked by old, tan privacy window curtains. The iron leaked water and the retractable cord wouldn't stay out, so I had to wrap part of the cord around the handle so I could use it. The wire for the hair dryer in the bathroom was taped together with electrical tape by the sink. The bathtub dripped water and was pitted, I did not feel comfortable to take a bath. The carpet needs shampooing.

Great location. Lovely staff. Easy access to bus and metro-rail.
The lobby coffee machine was free but cheap. Weak, watery coffee dispensed into my cup----no matter the "strength level" selected (mild, medium, or bold). The experience was frustrating and disappointing. Please repair or replace; and tune each coffee strength to an acceptable standard.

The location is not even close to museums or the zoo.. Very disappointed.
