Gute Lage , Das Schloss hat von außen auch sehr gut gewirkt .

Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück war sehr bescheiden für den stolzen Preis der Übernachtung ..

Not worth it

The communication was very poor, a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and it was never clear if we should evacuate or not. I emailed them after our trip to no response. Do not recommend

Very good

Unique stay with great landscaping and spacious rooms. Very convenient to tarrytown and sleepy hollow attractions

Breakfast was underwhelming - food was low quality for a 4-star hotel and ran out. There also weren't enough chairs for diners in the buffet area

a stunning and unique hotel.

it was a big shame that the spa and restaurant were closed during our stay. appreciate we had some notice beforehand but a reduction in the cost of our room would have been a nice gesture as it still cost us £250 for one night.

Lovely Getaway in a Great Town

The location is secluded yet a five minute drive into town and only a few miles from many historic sites. The Castle is beautiful and the grounds lovely. The King bedroom we stayed in was very well appointed, large and very clean. The staff was pleasant and accommodating at all times. There was a complimentary gift basket with wine and snacks - a great surprise!

I'm older and like my "comfort" so maybe take my critique with a grain of a salt. The mattress was firm and would benefit from a mattress topper. The pillows were comfy and pliable but quite flat to sleep on. The chairs in the room were deep with flattened cushions and could use an ottoman or foot stool for reading, watching tv or just relaxing. The heat/cooling system was directly across from the head of the bed and I could feel it blowing on me. The breakfast was disappointing, not plentiful and in my opinion, not quality food items: cold bagels and danish, instant oatmeal, fruit salad was nice though.

The rooms are giant, comfortable, quiet and clean. Wonderful staff. Old-world luxury.

Romantic Get Away

We wanted a unique experience and this Castle did not disappoint. The desk attendant treated us to a tour. We loved hearing the history of the families and the original castle. The grounds were well maintained. We would recommend this location for events, dinner, and a romantic get away!
