The location, for the price can’t be beaten. You’re right on the beautiful Kaanapali Beach. A short stroll to black rock on one side, and a short walk to Whalers Village on the other.
The hotels location is on the western side of the island, which tends to be dryer. You’re a short drive to larger supermarkets like Safeway and a short drive to amazing beaches like Nāpili and Kapalua, as well as Honolua bay for world class snorkeling.
There isn’t much, if not anything that I didn’t like about this hotel. The pool isn’t as extravagant as some others. But it’s big enough, has plenty of chairs and shade.

Room & Bed comfortable. Decent third party Restaurant on site called Maui Brewing Co. Try the Bananas Foster pancakes. Easy walk to black rock.
Small rooms, no kitchen, pool is worst I have seen at a resort.
