Pool and gym out of service big bummer

Breakfast was good. The room was spacious, clean, no smells, and away from the elevator area.
The only problem with room 108 was that it had black mold on the ceiling over the bath tub from a previous leak from the room above. I kept the bathroom door closed so I wouldn’t inhale the mold as I slept. I did let the front desk know.

The room was large, Our family was able to spread out. The Hotel was clean and very nice. The cookies were an extra touch. The kids loved them. The breakfast was great.
The beds were hard and the water pressure wasn't the greatest. But overall a great hotel.

The staff (besides the manager) was accommodating and helped as much as they could.
The renovations were not communicated. It was nice to be able to use the other hotel pools but absolutely inconvenient. We booked our extended stay because of your pool option.
Our room didn’t have working tv’s or a working garbage disposal. There were no phones in the room so we had to walk down every time our keys didn’t work. There was no safe to use for our valuables. The spoons were sharper than the knives on our kitchenette.
There wasn’t enough staff to handle all of the guest needs and we had more than once that we requested assistance that didn’t come (getting 2 more chairs for our room - I asked again and ZaZa made it happen), lighting the outside fire-pit.
We saw the cleaning crew coming so we turned in our room keys early at check out so she could start cleaning. We went down to the lobby and played cards for a few hours before departing. We asked the male manager if there was a bathroom in the lobby area to be used and he simply said, nope…. It’s being renovated. Nothing more. Very disappointing after the far from expected experience we had hoped for.
